He&She — The WFH scenes

It was a mid-week day, both He & She were working late in the evening. Of all the good things they liked about the flexibility of WFH, the best part was, being able to spend more time together and indulge in some mid-day romance!😍
She was wrapping up her work, while he was still seriously working on some projects. She closed her laptop and looked at him. He seemed pretty soaked up in his work and did not pay much attention to her. She, though misses his attention, does not complain since she understands that he loves his work too.
She kept looking at him for a while breaking his concentration. He turns and smiles at her and asks,
“What babe, are you getting bored?”.
She, ignoring the question asked, “Can I ask you something?”.
He replied, “Is it about when will I finish my work”, and giggled.
She, “No, can I kiss you?”, and looked at him longingly.
He took a pause, looked deep into her eyes, came close to her, and kissed her passionately, just forgetting everything that was happening around them and even completely ignoring a totally wrong-timing song playing on their Alexa!
Guess, Alexa should be smart enough to change the song understanding the moment and mood better.
She got back onto her chair, and closed her eyes, still soaking at the moment that just got over. Turned and looked at him again and smiled a happy smile. He kissed her affectionately on her forehead and went back to finishing his work.
She, still feeling the happiness of his kiss, walked to the balcony, not wanting to disturb him further and started moon watching. Looking at the moon, she kept thinking, how did all this happen, how did he come into her life, how complete and blessed does he make her feel. A couple of times, she turned back to find him still busy with work.
She continued moon watching and let the calm and silent night soak in her. Her reverie broke when he came quietly and hugged her from behind. She knew he would do that and kept waiting for that moment!
He whispered into her hears,
“Hey baby, missed me? Shall we get some sleep!”
She, so immersed in the scene, just not wanting to let him go, hugged him tighter and stood there without a word.
They both stood there, feeling the warmth of each other, and living that exact moment to the fullest!❤️
